 On wednesday room 2 made smoothies in my team there was me olly and arthur.We choose to make fruit punch out of mango,peach,blueberry and orange juice then we videoed them here's the link.

We also had a tasting test our group came second but the sweet DNA came first.I liked our one because it was yum but the bad thing was it was thick.There was five groups and their names where berrey breeze,fruit punch,purple sunrise,sweet DNA and paradise island.when all the recipes are done we are going to make a recipe book for smoothies.  This is my resipy.

MATERIALS                                                                              INGREDIENTS

                                                                                                    250 g peach,100 g mango, half a cup of

                                                                                                    blueberries and 2 cups of orange juice

1 knife

1 cutting board

1 blender 

1 cup

METHOD

1 pour the orange juice into the blender.

2 Next pop the mango in the  blender.

3 Get some peach and cut it up or dice it up then put it all in the blender.

4 lastly put the blueberries in and then you have      Fruit Punch.

Back to school 2021

In moana learning hub we have been doing so much stuff!

 We have started surfing, swimming, writing, epic, khan academy, we have been up Maungaroa and to Hamanatua.  I'm in Moana two with Rozie as my teacher she is nice.  At Hamanatua we made our maunga and it was massive, we also had lunch there and walked back on the beach.  When we went to Maungaroa it was a massive walk and the lighthouse did not look like a lighthouse!  We had brain food and saw Tuahine Point and the shark pool.  I saw Sponge Bay also Tuamotu island, it was steep walking up Maungaroa.  We walked in our classes it was fun and we got a photo of Moana syndicate, it was fast on the way down.

I did swimming sports and I came 3rd in freestyle and backstroke and got in the backstroke finals.  I surprised myself, I was nervous at the start but after the first race I was all good. I liked riding on the bus and going in the water.  Swimming sports was fun.  We have started quick writes and blogs, like this one, also we have started epic online reading, I like it so much.  Another thing is khan academy it is a math site, it is good for me and it is fun and easy.  We've also done 2021 art.

In term one room one went to tonui collab.

We learnt about conadoril thinking first we got some aros and had to lead our buddy to the ball.With the arrows Jago told me what to do and I was the duny.Then we made a maze for our lego person to go throw and pick up gems and boje sic lops.

After morning tea we got sphere robot driving licenses.Then we got the I pads and coded the sphere robots me and jago made our sphere robot do bir outs.Other people made there sphere robots make chicken noses. 

I thought that Tonui collard was fun.

  Kapa haka

Every year in wainui beach school celebrates the maori history.

We celebrate the history of new zealand by singing wiata(songs).Wainui beach school

practices for 1 to 4 terms we do 7 songs at the festadle every year.In the year 2020 

we did 6 songs.

In some of the songs we do actions and words and in some we do just words.

If you do not no what kapa haka is when people come together and sing maori waiata.

The turanga a nui kapa haka festival is when schools around gisborne sing kapa haka like birds.

Also the turanga a nui festival represents how we are and our identity.

Also if you didn't know the girls do the poi and the boys do the haka.

bay is the boy kia and martitia is the girl kia.

I felt happy afterwards because all of our training was over.Also because kapa haka was over.

Nickle nackle tree

The nickle nackle tree is a tree with cartoon birds based in the book. 

For the nickle nackle tree is room 1 I bid a bird that was not like any other bird in the world.It had a curly tail that looked like a crazy tree and the body was like a rainbow.It was orange, red,brown,green,blue.Also it was The shape of a pair but rainbow.

Pic n mix

Most morning 's Room One do's pic n pix  in math.  Pix n mix is a game of times tables.

The dealer puts down a card and whatever the answer is however get s the answer first get s a card however get s the most cards wins.You get to chows what ever times tables you what if you are learning.Room One dose pic n mix card's to be more flowent at our times tables.

I think pix n mix cards are fun. My pic n mix budde is Dune she is very fast at pic n mix.We say the answer a lot at the same time.We do our nines most the time in our math's.

I think that pic n mix cards is a fun and good way to learn our times ladles.Also get fluent with limes ladles.It's won of my favorite card games.You should play it.

Sipping

 Skipping

Most day Room 1 gose skipping. My buddy counts our skips. After our buddy tells us our scores we write our scores in our graph which is in our math book. My buddy is jago. My graph is going down sometimes and I think this is because sometimes I get a green handled skipping rope.Yellow handles are bigger than green handles. 

We get 15 seconds,30 seconds and 45 second  to skip. The most skips I’ve ever done in 45 seconds is 76 skips.Our class goes skipping so we get fit for cross country.I think skipping is fun.I also like drawing our grafs.

Most days on 15 seconds I get around 20 skipps on 30 seconds I get around 40 skipps and on 45 seconds I get 60 to 70 skipps.
